A clear look at how we protect your personal details
Your Privacy Matters to Us
Your trust matters to us, and so does your information. When you shop with us, book a service or send us a message, we only ask for the details we need to serve you well: things like your name, phone number and delivery address. We don’t sell your information, and we keep it safe in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have, including how to see, correct or delete your details. If you have any questions about your privacy, our team is always happy to help.

- Who we are
This website, xadoeastafrica.com, is run by Xado East Africa Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Kenya, with offices on Workshop Road, Nairobi. We are responsible for the personal information we collect about you. In legal terms, we are its “data controller”.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under Kenya’s Data Protection Act 2019.
- The information we collect
When you order from us, we collect your name, phone number, email address and delivery location, along with what you ordered and how you paid.
When you pay by M-Pesa or another payment method, we receive confirmation of the payment, such as the transaction code, amount and phone number used. We never see or store your M-Pesa PIN or full card details.
When you book a service, we collect your contact details and information about your vehicle, such as its make, model, year, mileage and registration number, and your location for mobile services.
When you contact us, whether by phone, WhatsApp, email or a form on our website, we keep a record of the conversation so we can help you.
When you apply for a trade account, we collect your business details and the details of your contact person.
When you visit our website, we automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you stay. Some of this is collected using cookies, which are explained in section 8.

- Marketing messages
We will only send you offers and news by email, SMS or WhatsApp if you have agreed to receive them, or if you have bought from us before and have not asked us to stop. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by contacting us.
