About XADO East Africa
Keeping East Africa’s engines running longer
XADO East Africa is the official importer and distributor of XADO products in East Africa. Since 2014, we have helped drivers, mechanics and fleet owners across Kenya look after their vehicles with engine oils, treatments and car care products that do more than ordinary brands: they help repair the wear that every engine suffers over time.
EST 1991
Our Story
XADO began in 1991 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, as a team of scientists and engineers looking for a better way to fight engine wear. In 1998 they made the discovery that would define the company: a way to restore worn metal surfaces while a machine is running. They called it revitalization, and the technology Revitalizant.
In 2004, XADO and the Dutch oil maker Eurol founded XADO Lube in the Netherlands to produce XADO Atomic Oil, engine oils with Revitalizant built in. Today XADO products are sold in more than 60 countries and used in everything from family cars to trucks, ships and industrial machinery.
In January 2014, XADO came to East Africa when we opened our office in Nairobi.
What Makes us Different?
We Repair without Tools!
Every engine wears from the day it is first started. Ordinary oils and additives can only slow that wear down. XADO’s Revitalizant goes further. Carried by the oil to the parts that rub together, it repairs tiny worn spots on the metal and covers them with a tough, smooth protective layer. In everyday terms, your engine or gearbox runs quieter, smoother and more efficiently, uses less fuel, and lasts longer.
That is good for your pocket and good for the environment: less fuel burned, fewer harmful exhaust gases, and fewer parts thrown away.
