XADO 1 Stage Magnum is an engine treatment for the diesel engines of trucks. You add one tube to the engine oil, and it restores worn metal surfaces and protects them while the truck keeps working. It carries our highest Revitalizant rating, RF 100.

A truck engine earns its keep the hard way. It pulls a full load up every hill, runs for ten or twelve hours at a stretch and covers more distance in a year than most cars do in ten. All that work wears metal away, a little at a time, from the cylinders, pistons, bearings and valve gear. You see the result as falling compression, more smoke, rising fuel and oil bills and a truck that struggles on gradients it once took in its stride.

The usual answer is an engine overhaul, which means a large bill and, worse, weeks with the truck off the road and earning nothing.

Magnum offers another route. Carried by the oil to every part that rubs, Revitalizant builds a new ceramic-metal layer on the worn surfaces, harder and smoother than the original metal. It forms where the wear is, during normal driving. Compression evens out and rises, oil pressure returns to its proper level, and the engine pulls, sounds and starts like a healthier one.

The treatment completes over the first 1,000 km, and the engine is then reliably protected against wear for 100,000 km.

How to use

Warm the engine to its normal working temperature, then switch it off. Squeeze the full contents of the tube into the engine through the oil filler. One tube treats an oil system of up to 45 litres.

Start the engine and let it idle for 3 to 5 minutes. Then use the truck as normal.

The treatment takes place over the next 1,000 km. Do not change the engine oil during that time, so apply it soon after an oil change, not just before one. Repeat the treatment after 100,000 km.

It is compatible with all types of engine oil. For the best continuing protection, XADO recommends using XADO Atomic oils afterwards.
