XADO Maximum Power Steering for Diesel Truck is a treatment for the power steering of trucks and for other hydraulic equipment. You add one syringe to the hydraulic fluid, and it restores the worn parts of the pump and steering system while the vehicle works. It carries our highest Revitalizant rating, RF 100.

A truck’s steering tells the driver a great deal. When it is healthy, a loaded lorry can be turned with one hand. When the system starts to wear, the driver feels it before anyone else does: the wheel grows heavy, especially at low speed and when parking, and there is a howl or whine from under the cab every time it is turned.

That noise is the power steering pump. It works at very high pressure, with parts made to extremely fine tolerances, and as those parts wear the pump can no longer build the pressure the system needs. A replacement pump is costly, and heavy, vague steering on a loaded truck is tiring for the driver and a real safety concern.

This treatment restores the pump from the inside. A metal conditioner improves lubrication straight away, while Revitalizant builds a ceramic-metal layer on the worn surfaces, closing up the clearances that let pressure escape.

A fair word of caution: this treatment restores worn metal parts. It cannot fix a leaking hose or seal, a slipping drive belt or a broken pump. If the fluid level keeps dropping, have the leak repaired first. It is also not for electric power steering, which has no hydraulic fluid.

How to use

Check that the hydraulic fluid is clean and at the correct level, and top up if needed.

With the engine off, squeeze the full contents of the syringe into the power steering fluid reservoir. One syringe treats up to 5 litres of hydraulic fluid.

Start the engine and turn the steering wheel fully from one side to the other several times, so the treatment circulates through the system. Then use the vehicle as normal.
