XADO 10W-40 4T MA2 Red Boost is a synthetic engine oil made for four-stroke motorcycles. It carries Revitalizant, our technology that protects and restores the metal inside your engine as you ride, and it is safe for wet clutches.
A motorcycle asks more of its oil than a car does. In most bikes, one oil looks after the engine, the gearbox and the clutch all at once, while the engine spins far faster than any car’s. Pour in ordinary car oil and the clutch can start to slip. This oil is built for the job.
Why riders choose it
Gear changes stay smooth and the clutch bites cleanly, because the oil meets JASO MA2, the motorcycle standard for wet clutches. It holds up under hard riding, long trips and stop-start town traffic. Our Red Boost formula slows down the ageing of the oil itself, so it keeps protecting right through to your next service. And Revitalizant builds a ceramic-metal layer on the parts that rub together, making up for wear instead of only slowing it.
Made for bikes like yours
Yamaha FZ, MT and Ténéré models; Suzuki GSX, DR and V-Strom; Kawasaki Versys, KLR and Ninja; Honda XR, CB and Africa Twin. It also suits four-stroke scooters and quad bikes.
Riding a commuter or boda boda bike? Many of them accept a 10W-40, and a synthetic oil with Revitalizant is a real upgrade for an engine that works all day.
Not sure what your bike needs? Tell our specialists the make, model and year, and they will confirm the right oil before you buy.
Genuine XADO, straight from the source
Every can comes directly from XADO, made in the Netherlands and sealed. If you’d rather not do the oil change yourself, our Nairobi service centre can do it for you.
Your bike gets you through traffic that stops everyone else. One litre keeps it doing that.
How to use
- Check your owner’s handbook for how much oil your engine holds. Small commuter bikes take about one litre; bigger bikes can take three or more.
- Warm the engine for a few minutes, switch it off, then drain the old oil and change the oil filter if your bike has one. Pour in XADO 10W-40 4T MA2 and check the level through the sight glass or on the dipstick. Run the engine for a minute, switch off, wait, and check again.
