A two-stroke engine lives a different life from the one in your car. It has no oil sump. The oil is mixed with the petrol, does its job once, and is burnt along with the fuel. That means the oil has to protect the engine and then burn away cleanly, and a poor oil does neither well. It leaves carbon on the piston, blocks the exhaust and sends out a cloud of blue smoke.

This oil is made to burn clean. Its low-smoke formula keeps the engine clean inside and stops deposits building up in the combustion chamber and exhaust ports. How to use

For engines where you mix the oil with the petrol, use a ratio of 1:50 unless your manufacturer says otherwise. That is 20 ml of oil for every litre of petrol, or 100 ml for 5 litres.

Pour the oil into a clean fuel container, add the petrol, close it and shake well before filling the tank. Mix only what you will use within a few weeks.

For engines with a separate oil tank, simply fill the tank with XADO 2T FC.

Always follow the ratio in your machine’s handbook if it differs. Too little oil can damage the engine, and too much causes smoke and deposits.
