XADO RED Cleaner Diesel is a fuel additive that cleans the whole fuel system of a diesel engine, from the injectors to the combustion chamber. You pour one can into the tank before you fill up. It contains Revitalizant, which protects the precision parts of the fuel pump and injectors.

A diesel engine tells you when its fuel system is dirty. It puffs black smoke when you pull away. It feels lazy on hills it used to climb easily. It rattles more at idle, takes longer to start in the morning, and drinks more fuel than it once did.

The cause is nearly always the same. A diesel injector sprays fuel through holes finer than a human hair, and over time carbon builds up around them. The fine mist turns into a coarse dribble, the fuel no longer burns cleanly, and the unburnt part leaves the exhaust as smoke.

This cleaner carries a double dose of a powerful cleaning agent called PEA, which removes stubborn carbon from the injectors, valves, combustion chambers, piston crowns and piston rings. As the spray pattern recovers, so does the engine. A cetane booster helps the fuel burn more completely, for more power and less soot. And a stabilising complex protects the system from the corrosion and slime that today’s biodiesel blends can cause.

How to use

Before filling up, fit the spout and pour the full 250 ml can into the fuel tank. One can treats 30 to 60 litres of diesel. Then fill the tank, so the cleaner mixes well with the fuel.

Drive as normal until the tank is nearly empty, so the cleaner has time to work through the whole system.

Keep the can away from children, and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
