XADO RED DPF Cleaner is a fuel additive that cleans and restores the diesel particulate filter (DPF) while you drive. You simply pour it into the tank. It also contains Revitalizant, which protects the precision metal parts of the fuel system during the treatment.

If you drive a modern diesel, there is a filter in the exhaust that traps soot. Every so often the car burns that soot away by itself, but only when the exhaust gets very hot, which normally means a steady run on an open road. In town traffic the exhaust never gets hot enough. The soot keeps building up, the filter starts to choke, and one day a warning light appears on the dashboard. The car feels sluggish and uses more fuel. Left alone, it ends in an expensive cleaning or a new filter.

How to use

Shake the can, fit the spout and pour the full 250 ml into the fuel tank before you fill up with diesel. Then fill the tank, so the additive mixes well.

Drive as normal until the tank is nearly empty. If you can, include a steady run on an open road of 20 minutes or more, which gives the filter the best chance to clean itself fully.
