XADO Revitalizant EX120 for Fuel Equipment is a treatment that restores and protects fuel pumps and injectors in both diesel and petrol engines. You add one syringe to the fuel tank, and it works while you drive.

Ask a diesel owner what repair they fear most and many will name the same two parts: the injection pump and the injectors. In a modern common rail engine, the pump pressurises fuel to more than a thousand times the pressure in your tyres, and the injectors open and close many times a second. Both are machined to tolerances finer than a hair. A set of injectors or a new pump can cost as much as the car is worth.

These parts have one more weakness. Nothing lubricates them except the fuel passing through. When the fuel is poor, or carries water or dirt, they wear quickly. The symptoms follow: hard starting, rough idling, knocking, smoke, lost power and a growing thirst for fuel.

EX120 protects them from the inside. Carried by the fuel, Revitalizant forms a ceramic-metal coating on the rubbing surfaces of the pump and injectors, restoring their shape and shielding them against further wear.

The system holds its pressure properly again, the fuel is delivered accurately, and the engine runs more quietly and cleanly on less fuel. It works with every type of fuel system, including common rail and pump-injector diesels and petrol injection.

A fair word of caution: Revitalizant restores worn metal surfaces. It cannot unblock an injector choked with deposits or repair one that has failed electrically. For deposits, clean the system first with XADO RED Cleaner Diesel or RED Cleaner Petrol. If the engine is misfiring or showing a warning light, have it diagnosed.

How to use

For the best result, clean the fuel system first with a fuel system cleaner, such as XADO RED Cleaner, and use that tank of fuel up.

When the tank is nearly empty, squeeze the contents of the syringe into the fuel tank. Then fill up with about 40 litres of fuel, so the treatment mixes well. Drive as normal.

Choose the number of syringes by engine size: one syringe for engines up to 5 litres, two for engines of 5 to 15 litres, and three for engines of 15 to 30 litres. Nearly every car, 4×4 and pickup needs just one.

The treatment is complete after about 3,000 km or 100 hours of running.
